Rebecca West is a town planner who assists a wide range of clients in realising their vision for the use and development of land.

Her quiet and thoughtful nature allows for considered and strategic approaches to working with relevant approval authorities and delivering exemplary development outcomes for her clients.

A specialist in statutory planning, Rebecca provides seamless service to her clients, whether offering regulatory advice on statutory planning controls, managing changes to land-use and development applications, or advising on the feasibility of projects and adherence to planning principles.

Rebecca’s core personal strengths are her approachable and engaged manner, honest and pragmatism, as well as her commitment, diligence and focus on positive outcomes.

She has spent more than 20 years honing her skills, working for local government before joining Urbis in 1999. Her primary specialisation is in the delivery of residential projects, including single dwellings, small and larger scale medium density housing projects.

She has also delivered master plans and subsequent approvals for key independent schools including Melbourne Girls Grammar, Loreto Mandeville Hall, Strathcona and Ruyton Girls Schools; and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s expansion.

Rebecca’s skill set and approach to planning matters means that she is regularly called on to provide expert evidence to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, where she has an excellent record of successful outcomes.

I enjoy working with people to realise their vision.
