Kris Nolan is a senior urban planner whose work focuses on urban infill projects in Western Australia.

Kris has a passion for renewing old places – for helping clients create innovative spaces for people to live and work within an existing footprint. Kris has qualifications in geography and urban and regional planning, and is an active member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and the Planning Institute of Australia.

At Urbis, he specialises in statutory and strategic planning for residential and activity centre developments. And his detailed knowledge of the approvals process helps him translate his clients’ visions into achievable outcomes.

He managed the approval process for the ground-breaking Whitford Activity Centre Structure Plan for Scentre Group. Other highlights include the rezoning of Rosehill Golf Course for a sustainable residential development and his work on the structure plan, subdivision and built-form controls for WGV at White Gum Valley, a national award-winning LandCorp residential development in Perth.

I love the challenge of difficult projects and helping clients translate their vision and ideas into best practice outcomes.
