Evan is an accomplished and future-focused urban planner with eight years’ experience. He specialises in large-scale urban renewal and is able to keep projects moving by finding alternate pathways through difficult planning scenarios.

Evan has particular strengths in stakeholder engagement, working with complex institutional and government stakeholder groups, as well as with industry peak bodies.

Prior to working at Urbis, Evan was a senior advisor to the Minister for Planning, helping to deliver a range of planning system reforms and facilitating the approval of major residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Evan has also worked at the Metropolitan Planning Authority and a prominent urban design practice in Melbourne. Career highlights include developing campus master plans for Monash and La Trobe University, and the Monash Employment Cluster Draft Framework Plan.
