The Mickleham Road Upgrade is a major infrastructure project in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor, being undertaken as part of Victoria’s Big Build.
The project includes 1.6km of road duplication, creating 3 lanes in each direction along Mickleham Road.
We were engaged by the Valuer General Victoria (VGV) to undertake compensation assessments arising from the compulsory acquisition of properties required for the project. The properties were compulsorily acquired via the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009 (MTPF) and in accordance with the Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986 (LACA).
Our team’s skills and experience in providing compensation assessments across a broad range of asset classes was critical to the success of resolving complex compulsory acquisition matters.
Urbis has the largest and most experienced team of qualified valuers who specialise in compulsory acquisition valuations.
