Urbis was commissioned by Launceston Airport to consider potential development options for three separate sites at Launceston Airport totalling 7.1 hectares of land.

The Land Use Plan embodies the One Urbis spirit by bringing together the economic and planning teams to provide a bespoke and targeted investigation for the client.

The work undertaken builds on the Airport’s growth ambition and drive to coordinate development while being agile enough to respond to opportunistic enquiries. Informed by an assessment of current planning controls and current and future market conditions, the Land Use Plan provides a market tested vision and flexible development framework to serve as a tool to guide future development and investment decisions for the airport.

A ‘One Urbis’ approach provided Launceston Airport with a clear strategy for growth considering regulatory, market and physical opportunities and constraints.
