Urbis partnered with the University of Sydney to develop a master plan for its $1 billion Campus Improvement Program.

More than 300,000 square metres of floor space will be added across six precincts throughout the University’s Camperdown and Darlington campuses. Students and visitors will enjoy new collaborative learning spaces, civic areas and an improved pedestrian and vehicle network.

Urbis’ user-friendly master plan will help inform the University’s investment priorities while also guiding decision-making for a range of internal stakeholders. We secured Stage 1 approval for this state significant development, allowing the University certainty in its construction program around the student calendar. We also drafted procedures to help the University ‘self-approve’ further minor developments, exercising its powers as a public authority.

With Urbis’ help, the University of Sydney will continue to strengthen its reputation as a leading University – one that attracts the brightest minds from around the world.
