With a motivated client looking to streamline the construction of a complex project, Urbis facilitated the approval of a consolidated DA for three new buildings in the St Leonards Strategic Centre, and subsequent amendment, through the North Sydney Planning Panel.
Through our technical planning team, Urbis were able to successfully secure the consent while demonstrating the project achieves design excellence. Urbis expertly navigated the complex and overlapping controls for the site, and when obtaining approval for the development secured additional floor space across an expanded site, multiple floor space bonuses, and a city-scale built form that will be a marker for the centre. As a result, the client can proceed with a single stage construction for this significant new precinct scale development.
