Urbis is assisting Tallawoladah realise their vision to transform Campbell’s Stores into a world class waterfront dining precinct, which is considered an iconic destination for international and domestic tourists, as well as Sydney residents.
The $32 million project involves the remediation, renewal, adaptive re-use and revitalisation of the State Heritage listed Campbell’s Stores, as well as upgrades to the existing outdoor dining areas and surrounding public domain. The project will extend the life and enhance the appearance of this prominent heritage item in an iconic area on Sydney’s harbour foreshore.
Urbis secured planning approval for the State Significant Development in April 2017, after working closely with the client, project team including Architect (JPW) and Heritage Architect (GBA Heritage), NSW Department of Planning and Environment, and other Government agencies.
Urbis is also assisting Property NSW secure planning approval for the associated foreshore and public domain improvements to Campbells Cove.
