Siân is a skilled urban planning professional with over eight years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. She has experience in statutory, strategic and heritage planning fields, having worked on a diverse range of projects in Victoria and Western Australia.
Siân is an outcomes-focused planner, adept at ‘outside the box’ thinking to achieve results. Her strengths in stakeholder negotiation and project management have enabled her to effectively facilitate complex strategic and development projects.
Prior to working at Urbis, Siân was a senior policy adviser to the Minister for Planning (WA), where she was responsible for providing professional planning advice to the Minister and other Members of Parliament on State Government projects, policy initiatives and emerging issues.
Siân previously held the role of Manager Statutory Planning at the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (WA) and has also worked at a prominent planning practice in Perth, in the preparation of urban regeneration planning frameworks and facilitation of major development projects.
