Matthew has played a key role in some of Brisbane’s most significant developments, including the historic Brisbane Showgrounds, Howard Smith Wharves and Yeerongpilly Green. An urban planner with more than 13 years’ experience, he specialises in facilitating developments and has worked on many public and private sector projects.
Over the years, Matthew has developed a deep understanding of site-specific land-use planning, statutory planning and the factors that affect development. Clients value his expertise in guiding developments – from mixed-use projects to greenfield subdivisions – through to approval.
The highlights of Matthew’s project planning and management work at Urbis include the delivery of numerous CBD towers, including One One One Eagle Street, Brisbane Skytower and Mary Lane.
