Matt is an industrial specialist with over 15 years’ experience valuing assets throughout Victoria’s industrial markets. He is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute having gained his Certified Practising Valuer status in 2007.

His career has always been focused on industrial with current clients including major banks and non-bank lenders, institutional clients, and corporates.

Matts recent appointments include a four-property institutional portfolio for financial reporting, a Victorian Supreme Court expert witness report, a 120-unit office/warehouse development including feasibility analysis, and a large scale industrial estate valuation.

He has appointments for rental determinations and submissions for industrial property that both fall within and outside of the Retail Leases Act 2003.

Matt leads the Urbis Victorian industrial team within the Economics and Property service line.

The last few years has shown the industrial asset class to be dynamic with dramatic movements in yields and rentals. Professional valuation advice is now critical throughout the investment life cycle.
