Christina McRae has more than 15 years’ experience in strategic and statutory planning in Melbourne, where she’s worked on many high-profile and complex development projects.

Clients prize her detailed knowledge across the approvals process, from planning scheme amendments to master plan approvals. Though Christina works on all manner of developments across the public and private sectors, much of her work has centred on residential and mixed-use projects and urban renewals in Melbourne’s inner city and suburbs. She has experience in appearing before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal as an advocate and expert planning witness.

Throughout her career, Christina has enjoyed managing planning approvals for a major mixed-use development in Smith Street, Collingwood; coordinating ministerial planning approval and Heritage Victoria approval for Westpac’s Victorian headquarters as part of the Scots’ Church development on Collins Street; and preparing rezoning and a strategic framework for central Wodonga on behalf of VicTrack. She has a Bachelor of Planning and Design (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.

I enjoy contributing to how our communities fit into the urban environment. I take a strategic approach and build relationships to achieve balanced outcomes for my clients.
