IP Generation and ACorporation were looking to set a new standard for multi storey commercial development in Frankston Central Activities District. The vision was to capture coastal views and utilise the proximity to central services to support the opportunity for transformation. Urbis’ role was to secure planning approvals, which aspired to new forms of commercial development in the Frankston CAD.

Woods Baggot Architects were engaged to design a contemporary 9 storey building with 5 1/2 star NABERS rating, leading edge ESD inclusions and A Grade tenant amenities. Ensuring the project could achieve 1000 sq m + commercial floor plates was a key requirement in the ability to market to quality commercial tenants.

Through detailed work with Woods Baggot and Council officers, our team successfully negotiated a planning approval which sensitively exceeded the heights and setbacks of the Frankston Structure Plan. Critically, the approval also varied the cash in lieu parking payment.
