Karen Wright’s background is in greenfield, brownfield and infill planning. She specialises in large-scale industrial developments and activity centres that support economic and employment growth.
With her team and her clients, Karen emphasises clear communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and teamwork. She has many years’ experience preparing planning reports for structure plans, development applications, rezoning requests and subdivision applications, including for a number of industrial developments and structure plans.
In 2015, the Western Australian Planning Institute of Australia named Karen Planner of the Year. She has also been appointed to the inaugural South Regional TAFE Governing Council. As a member of the Property Council of Australia’s WA Economic and Employment Lands Committee, she also works to promote the release of industrial and employment lands in the Perth metropolitan region.
