Our design studio received a boost of innovation and creativity, after leading Perth urban designer Tim Greenhill and Melbourne landscape strategist Rachel Smithers recently joined the team.
Tim is a graduate of the Urban and Regional Studies program at Curtin University of Technology and holds a Master of Urban Design through Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC). He has worked across a range of government agencies, and in particular was involved in the master planning and design of a number of city shaping projects in WA for the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA), over the past 5 years. He is a prolific and highly regarded urban designer with experience spanning integrated urban renewal, waterfront, CBD development and regional activity centres.
Rachel, on the other hand, is a leader in the delivery of high quality environmental, economic and social landscape design outcomes. She has particular expertise in landscape planning and visual impact assessments, managing multi-disciplinary projects and advocates high customer service. She is a strategic thinker with astute skills in negotiation and consultation facilitation. Her key areas of strength include natural resources and recreation master & management plans, landscape and visual assessments, waterways, and recreation area planning and management. She brings a new dimension of experience into the Melbourne team and provides a wealth of expertise that will benefit not just local clients but also across the entire national Design team.
