Congratulations to Associate Director Linda Sharkey, who is in the running for the Young Achiever Award at The Australian Property Institute (API) National Excellence in Property Awards.

Linda is an astute valuer and trusted advisor on compulsory acquisition/compensation matters and financial reporting. Her wide-ranging clients, including government, private and institutional owners, call on her for accurate and perceptive valuations.

Linda will undoubtedly have a bright future as a leader within our organisation, and couldn’t be more deserving of this shortlisting.

Linda said: “I’m really honoured to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award.  It’s great to have the full support of Urbis in acknowledging my work with the nomination”.

Nicholas Moore, Director, added: “It’s clear to all those who meet Linda that she is incredibly talented. Beyond delivering excellent client service, Linda is able to collect, lead and inspire those around her.

“Her commitment to not only her job, but the profession, is admirable. She will undoubtedly have a bright future as a leader within our organisation, and couldn’t be more deserving of this shortlisting.”

Urbis is also proud to see several of its projects shortlisted. Barangaroo South by Lendlease is up for both the Environmental Development Award and Property Development Award. WGV at White Gum Valley by Landcorp is also shortlisted for the Environmental Development Award.

The Awards recognise innovation and outstanding achievement across the entire property industry with individuals, group and sector projects. The winners will be announced at a Gala Awards Dinner on 6 October.
