Great design is essential to shaping vibrant cities and communities.
We are thrilled to congratulate our Queensland team who received three awards last night from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architecture (AILA) Queensland Chapter.
Firstly, we congratulate James Tuma and team for developing the University of Queensland St Lucia Campus Master Plan. This project received the 2018 Landscape Architecture Award for Urban Design.
We also congratulate Glen Power and team for leading the Rockhampton Riverside precinct redevelopment which received two awards, including the 2018 Award of Excellence for Parks and Open Space and the 2018 Regional Achievement Award for Central Queensland.
AILA Queensland Awards Jury Chair, Amalie Wright, said “Landscape Architecture has the potential to touch every person in their day-to-day lives. The awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the very spaces people use and love, whether in their local communities or on their way to work.”
