Located in Parramatta North, the 1,500 sqm startup hub will provide affordable space and supporting programs to help Western Sydney startups, scaleups and businesses grow. The startup hub will form part of the revitalised Parramatta North Heritage Core and is sympathetic to the historic precinct while providing future-focused uses to create jobs.
The Western Sydney Startup Hub will play a key role in establishing the ecosystem of the future Westmead Health & Innovation District. The startup hub will form part of a network of connected NSW Lighthouse Precincts, Innovation Ecosystems and Startup Hubs.
Urbis was pleased to provide planning services for the project as well as securing approval from the Sydney Central City Planning Panel in 2021.
