The renewal of Salta Properties and Vicinity Centres’ Victoria Gardens shopping centre makes way for its comprehensive redevelopment into a truly mixed-use neighbourhood, featuring quality places to live and exciting entertainment destinations.
Our Planning team, supported by Economics, was pleased to progress the proposal through the Development Facilitation Program. Working closely with the Design team, we prepared the draft Comprehensive Development Plan which now provides the framework for the future growth of this significant precinct, and the planning assessment for six new mixed-use buildings on the site, including 827 apartments. We also supported the legal team at the Standing Advisory Committee.
The project’s architects collaborated to design a high-quality mixed-use development which will be well-integrated with the existing shopping centre and surrounding community and provide an excellent standard of amenity to its residents. We look forward to continuing to work with Vicinity Centres and Salta Properties as this exciting precinct develops.
