We were proud to contribute to the City of Canada Bay’s new $21 million community precinct, The Connection.
Situated on the shores of the Parramatta River at Homebush Bay, The Connection is an optimistic, playful, open space for all to enjoy.
We worked with architect Crone and artist Brook Andrew to bring the competition-winning scheme for the community precinct to life.
At its core is the integrated, pedestrian-friendly landscape design which gives special consideration to the importance of thermal comfort in urban spaces in Sydney.
The design integrates a public transport corridor with pedestrian, cycleway and water connections. It also promotes ecological corridors to improve the value of the natural environment through water reuse and filtration.
