Our team was involved in supporting Development Victoria in gaining approval for the redevelopment of the State Netball and Hockey Centre, illustrating our excellence in working with government agencies and approval strategies.

Research has shown that women continue to be underrepresented across the sporting industry. The State Governments’ investment in the redevelopment of this Centre serves to support more women and girls engaging in sport, specifically netball and hockey. The new and improved State Netball and Hockey Centre will serve as a valuable contribution to women’s sport.

Drawing on our expertise in the amendment process, Urbis provided strategic advice to Development Victoria that led to the preparation of a town planning report and planning scheme amendment documentation, which was then provided to the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP).

Throughout the process, our team negotiated with DELWP to ensure that a timely approval for the redevelopment was achieved.
