All children deserve a great education with exceptional learning spaces, facilities and amenities.
Urbis is proud to be actively involved with the NSW Department of Education’s ‘Innovative Education, Successful Students’ program. The project is an integrated effort by several agencies to upgrade existing schools and improve the quality of facilities. This investment is generating jobs in schools and in the construction industry.
The program consists of funding boosts to create new halls, libraries, classrooms and outdoor spaces, as well as refurbishments and maintenance. It aims to deliver long-term infrastructure solutions to cater for the growing population. Schools will have access to high quality and diverse learning environments, helping all students build skills for successful live.
These schools join a group of 40 active projects across Metropolitan Sydney that Urbis is providing urban planning, heritage and social planning services. Working with TKD Architects, Urbis has recently gained approval through the JRPP for the Rainbow Street, Randwick and Homebush West public schools expansion and upgrades.
“Urbis is proud to be working with the department of education and leading architects to expand and improve the quality of our schools and equip students for successful lives.
