Urbis assisted Stamford Property Services in revitalising its Macquarie Park location. Located on the corner of Herring and Epping roads, the site is a landmark opportunity at the gateway to Macquarie park.
Macquarie Park Village is a resort-style village at the highest point in Macquarie Park with commanding views to the north shore, Sydney CBD and beyond.
Following initial concept approval in 2012, Urbis have worked closely with AJ+C Architects on eight modifications to stage 1 of the part 3a project and a stage 2 development with Ryde council. The Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin buildings will contribute 700 dwellings to the precinct. The village will also offer retail, cafes, restaurants, swimming pool, gym and communal gardens.
Creating a vibrant, accessible and sustainable precinct will support Macquarie Park’s transition from a business park precinct to a high technology, high density global economic centre.
“The project is ideally located to contribute a true mixed-use development to the precinct. it will provide a great mix of housing and facilities and ensure that more people benefit from Macquarie Park’s employment, retail and education opportunities
