Honeysuckle is Newcastle’s oldest waterfront precinct and was the last one to be renewed. The precinct links Newcastle’s harbour, city and people. Urbis designed and delivered an extensive online and social media engagement process to generate ideas and excitement to inform the Hunter Development.

This intensive social media campaign reached more than 75,000 people and generated more than 800 comments on the online mapping portal and social media platforms over a three-week period.

Working with a range of engagement techniques, and an innovative digital campaign, we facilitated community views and influenced the precinct design.
