Avid commissioned Urbis to master plan, document and deliver the display village and sales office for Harmony, a new communities development on the Sunshine Coast.
Avid’s brief was simple – create a different kind of display village and sales office – a precinct that would break the mould of what other developers were doing in this space across the country.
Our landscape response was to provide an inspiring space that is flexible, multi-functional and able to cater for small to medium sized events. The design is characterised by formal lawn and water spaces set within a display of subtropical coastal planting. This provides an elegant forecourt for the surrounding display village homes
Our approach responded to both the structural layout and architectural design of the sales office and cafe by integrating a new sense of place and unique character.
