The NSW Government is working to strengthen and diversify the state’s night time economy.

In collaboration with the Department of Planning and Environment, Urbis prepared an informative and engaging guide for applicants seeking to operate night time uses. With a focus on diversifying uses, think late night book stores, cafes and theatres, the guide provides a how-to manual for those with a bright night time idea.

Urbis offers an integrated approach to engagement, utilising a team experienced in stakeholder engagement, policy research and urban planning. The development of this Guide involved in-depth workshops with local councils across metropolitan and regional NSW, research and the creation of an easy-to-read document for public use.

The guide is a key plank of the Government’s policy reforms to encourage a thriving 24-hour economy.
