The recently completed commercial office development in the heart of North Sydney CBD at 100 Mount Street will welcome major tenants Laing O’Rourke and NBN Co.
The building designed by Architectus in association with SOM (Chicago) is the tallest in North Sydney. It will feature an 8m high lobby, food and beverage tenancies, end of trip facilities and expansive views to Sydney Harbour.
Our team provided statutory planning advice, including the preparation of the initial Concept Plan and Project Applications under the former Part 3A Major Project provisions and subsequent modifications.
Our role included managing several expert inputs, preparation of a comprehensive planning reports and representations to key stakeholders throughout all planning approvals. Key planning considerations included balancing economic growth with public interest in relation to view loss, ensuring a high-quality public domain outcome, street level activation and through site pedestrian connectivity.
