Lani is an Associate Director in the Social Planning team, working across a wide range of property and infrastructure projects across Australia.
A natural connector, Lani works to establish trust early in projects to allow for effective delivery, and brings a client-focused, solutions-oriented approach to her work.
She has led the development of social value and social impact strategies, including the development of performance measures, indicators and metrics.
Lani’s work in the property and infrastructure sectors includes adaptive reuse of heritage, development and of mixed-use precincts, transport (including over-station developments and transit-oriented development), cultural values mapping, First Nations engagement, policy creation at a Federal, State and Local Government level.
As a specialist advisor to Government and Industry, Lani has a focus on innovation to drive social performance and improve social outcomes. She brings the lens of ‘Sustainable Development’ to work regardless of context, and is skilled at bringing together policy priorities to target wellbeing and economic prosperity for future generations.
She has delivered work to diverse clients including Lendlease, Mirvac, Billbergia, Ingenia, Google, Woolworths, as well as the Commonwealth Government, NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure NSW, Queensland Department of Energy and Climate, Queensland Government
