Dane is an award-winning urban and regional planner who has been exposed to both the public sector and private sector perspectives of planning with a focus on achieving results and delivering outcomes. Dane has experience across a diverse range of projects that have garnered him a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of urban and regional planning.

Dane has extensive experience in state government, working as a Senior Policy Advisor, responsible for providing advice to the Minister for Planning, other Ministers and Members of Parliament regarding development applications and processes, scheme amendments, planning reform initiatives and unique legislative matters concerning the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority Act Planning and Development Act and the Swan Valley Planning Act.

In his former role as Manager of Statutory Planning at DevelopmentWA, Dane has also been responsible for managing major development applications within some of Perth’s premiere redevelopment projects as well as policy development and strategic planning projects.

My role provides the opportunity to solve complex urban problemsthrough a practical, outcomes-focussed approach.
