The Urbis Real Estate Advisory team is pleased to announce the appointment of Lester Alvis as Director in its rapidly expanding Sydney team.
His appointment is a further critical step in building the Sydney office’s capability in the commercial office sector.
Urbis National Director of Valuations and Real Estate Advisory Matthew Cleary says that the appointment is a great coup for the company.
“The appointment has been brought about by demand from clients for additional expert consultancy knowledge. The Sydney office market is the largest in Australia and we are seeing continued demand for valuation services and advice on the back of our clients’ confidence in the Sydney office market.
“Lester brings a significant track record and experience, having worked in with Deutsche Bank Real Estate in London for seven years, and more recently, as the Director of Commercial Valuations for Savills in Sydney,” said Mr Cleary.
“He specialises in providing valuations and advice in the Sydney CBD office market as well as broader advisory functions and this fits well with our growth strategy to provide comprehensive services in core markets in Australia.”
While Lester will be based in Sydney, he will be working across the national commercial office team.
Lester’s appointment is another important step for Urbis in developing full eastern seaboard coverage of commercial office markets, as he has already established relationships with many of Urbis’ existing clients. Importantly, Lester brings to Urbis a broader skillset and experience over and above traditional valuation capabilities.
