Urbis Planning Consultant Stewart Doran has been recognised for his achievements, winning the Lighthouse Award at the Property Council of Australia WA’s 2015 Future Directions Young Achiever Awards, held in Perth on Friday 24 July.
The Lighthouse Award is presented to a young professional aged 25 or under and seeks to encourage and recognise young professionals’ early contributions to the WA property industry.
The focus of the awards is on the individual’s role and quality of involvement in the workplace and industry, rather than the size, value or importance of any particular project.
Stewart joined Urbis in 2013 after completing his Bachelor of Arts (Urban & Regional Planning) degree at Curtin University, and has developed his skills in both strategic and statutory planning as well as community consultation.
His keen interest in residential, commercial and retail planning, urban regeneration and revitalisation projects has led him to become involved in the advocacy for better planning through establishing the urban think tank, Perth Urbanist.
Congratulations, Stewart!
