Our team was awarded by PIA last night for the ACT Region for our work on Electric Vehicle Ready Developments for the ACT Government.
This project outlined a planning reform process for the ACT Government, which revolves around requirements for EV-Ready parking in multi-residential development, commercial development and incentive schemes to retrofit existing developments – without significantly increased Electric Vehicle (EV) roll-out, it will be impossible for the ACT to meet its zero-net emission target by 2045.
“It’s great to see Australia’s acceleration towards electric vehicle (EV) take-up in line with our societal expectations around sustainability. We are proud to have worked on this project which puts the ACT at the forefront in planning for future-ready apartments and commercial developments that are EV-ready. This project helps break down barriers to EV ownership for apartment-dwellers, avoiding the more costly path of retrofits for EV charging in the future.” – Alison Lee, Associate Director.
Well done team!
