We understand our expertise contributes significantly to the quality and sustainability of social, economic and physical environments we operate in. We thrive on this responsibility and strive to present ourselves to a standard expected from a company of our calibre.

In 2015, the UN launched an action plan for countries and companies to fight inequality and injustice, end poverty, protect the planet, and promote peace in the form of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a call for action by all countries – poor, rich and middle-income – to promote prosperity while protecting the planet.

On 1 January 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (adopted by world leaders in September 2015 at an historic UN Summit) came into force. Over the next fifteen years, with these universally applicable goals, countries will mobilise efforts to end poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

The Australian and Singapore (home of Cistri) governments are both signatories and active supporters of the UN initiative, and both track and report on progress against the goals.

The ‘Give Back’ community giving framework is aligned with UN Goal #11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.
