City strategist, urban designer and landscape architect, Tim O’Loan, will join Urbis’ National Design Studio from their Melbourne office on 25 October 2021.

Based at the firm’s new home at Olderfleet, where he will work closely with the Victorian Design Studio Lead, Tim’s appointment as Urbis’ Cities and Design Director will bolster Urbis’ Victorian and National depth of leadership to respond to the emerging issues and opportunities facing our cities.

Well-known across Australia and New Zealand, Tim is passionately committed to driving broad, integrated strategies that unlock hidden value, attract people and investment, and overcome financial and operational challenges for the benefit of the community.

Throughout his 25-year career, Tim has also built a strong reputation as a city and design thought leader by developing forward-looking urban policies and development strategies that underpin world-class infrastructure and design.

Tim joins Urbis after 15 years at AECOM where he led the growth of their Australian and New Zealand Cities, Urbanism and Planning practice.
