Sydney is rapidly growing and changing and one aspect of this we don’t often consider is our growing need for burial space. Sydney’s burial space is expected to be exhausted by 2050.
Working closely with the Catholic Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, Urbis developed an open and transparent engagement process to increase understanding and address misinformation about this proposal for a multi-denominational cemetery in Western Sydney.
Urbis is skilled at working in complex and uncertain public environments to find mutually-beneficial outcomes. Urbis managed high degrees of community concern and worked to demystify the proposal.
