Mirvac’s new project in St Leonards sets new standards for scale and quality of developments in the area.

Mirvac is transforming this precinct on Sydney’s North Shore into a high-quality urban regeneration area that will be a great place to live and work. The mixed-use scheme will include two high-rise towers – setting a new benchmark for building heights in the area – with active ground level retail uses, a commercial office podium, 539 apartments and a public square.

Urbis had worked with the site’s previous owners since 2013 where we successfully rezoned the site to pave the way for the project. We built on our knowledge of the surrounding urban environment, issues with the site – including complex ground levels and property interfaces – and relationship with the council to gain development approval. The council, residents, peer-review consultants all took a close interest.
St Leonards Square, designed by Sissons Architects, will maximise views of the CBD and harbour. For Urbis, it represents a showcase of our abilities to set a strategic direction
for change and deliver the desired urban outcome.
