210-220 George Street is an elegant commercial tower in the Sydney CBD. Featuring double height volumes, expressed structural soffits and external terraces, this 28 storey tower will be Poly Australia’s first landmark commercial tower in the Sydney CBD.
Urbis worked closely with Poly Australia in preparing a Concept DA for the new tower, which was approved by the Central Sydney Planning Committee in May 2017. Urbis continued on the project through 2017 managing an International Architectural Design Competition with six competing teams that informed the selection of the winning scheme by Grimshaw Architects (picture credit).
Following design evolution of the winning scheme, with Poly Australia and the broader design team, Urbis prepared and lodged a detailed DA for the building with the City of Sydney in December 2017.
