North East Link is a major infrastructure project in Melbourne’s northeast. The project includes the construction of Victoria’s longest road tunnels which will provide the missing link in our city’s freeway network.
Urbis was engaged to advise the Department of Transport on the compensation which should be paid to dispossessed owners and tenants who have had their property resumed as part of the project.
The properties Urbis were instructed to value were predominantly located within the Bulleen Industrial Precinct and consisted of a variety of industrial and commercial assets including a concrete batching plant, bulky good retailers, service stations, offices, traditional warehouses and showrooms.
Our role in advising the Department of Transport on appropriate levels of compensation included assessing the Lessor’s and Lessee’s Interest in the land with complex components.
“Urbis were the lead valuers assessing the compensation payable to the dispossessed owners affected by the project.
