The Morling College Masterplan is an integral infill redevelopment site within Macquarie Park, adjacent to Macquarie University and the Metro. Morling College, in collaboration with their development partner, TOGA, had a vision to integrate the existing educational uses and community services into a mixed-use village setting with new residential, commercial and retail uses, located adjacent to new streets and embellished publicly accessible areas.

The first stage of development designed by multi-award winning design studio Turner, Macquarie Rise, builds upon the Masterplan’s vision to deliver three mixed-use towers that provide housing, commercial opportunities and community facilities which meet the needs of the Morling college and the surrounding community.

Our planning team worked closely with Morling College to obtain approval of a concept Masterplan back in 2019. We were re-engaged by development partner TOGA to navigate the regionally significant planning process and obtained approval for an amended Masterplan and Stage 1 development, including the delivery of key new road infrastructure for the local Council and high quality publicly accessible spaces for the community.

We are proud to be working with Morling College, TOGA and Turner Studio to transform the site into a vibrant mixed-use urban village with a strong sense of place and belonging.

Urbis is proud to be working with Morling college, Toga and Turner Studio to transform this site into a vibrant mixed-use urban village with a sense of place and belonging.
