The Epworth Geelong Teaching Hospital, which is co-located with Deakin University, provides specialist teaching services, as well as meeting regional health needs for rehabilitation and acute services.
Our Planning team worked closely with State Government and the City of Greater Geelong Council to facilitate a Ministerial-led fast-track planning process. The fast-tracked process secured the site rezone and planning permit in nine months, allowing the project to proceed and minimise risk for Epworth HealthCare. We also undertook community engagement to ensure their views were considered as part of the redevelopment, which was instrumental in securing a rapid approval process.
