Sam Richards is an experienced Heritage Consultant and Archaeologist with a skill in providing strategic advice across differing projects on Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and Historical Heritage.
Over Sam’s extensive years of experience, he has gained an excellent working understanding of State and Commonwealth legislative requirements. The projects he has conducted have been implemented using best practice statutory guidelines, leading to the successful completion of various complex development projects in both government and private sectors. Sam has worked on small scale education and residential Development Applications right through to large scale Environmental Impact Statements for State Significant Infrastructure, Development, and mining projects.
Managing and providing advice on Heritage and archaeology is one of Sam’s most proficient skills and he has an in-depth understanding of field archaeology. Planning, communication, problem-solving, reporting, negotiation, implementation, and execution are strengths that he brings to the heritage sphere, ensuring an accurate, time efficient and compliant outcome for clients.
