Sam is a valuations specialist with many years of experience working across metropolitan and greater Melbourne. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT University and is an accredited Certified Practising Valuer with the Australian Property Institute.
Before joining Urbis, Sam spent much of his career managing statutory valuation contracts for local councils and providing assessments on major commercial, retail and industrial developments within metropolitan Melbourne and the growth corridors; including shopping centres, industrial estates, aged-care facilities and hospitals.
Sam’s work at Urbis has included providing technical statutory advice relating to shopping centre and commercial portfolios, and forecasting valuation outcomes and charges in major redevelopments and due diligence. He has also advised and represented clients through valuation disputes at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Recent projects have involved strategies for acquisition and disposition on a range of properties including broad-acre land subdivisions, where his experience includes providing specialist advice on compensation matters, highest and best use assessments, and valuations for development contributions.
