We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands where Urbis operates and pay respect to their Elders – past and present – and acknowledge their deep and continuing connection to these lands, waterways and ecosystems.
Urbis fully supports the aspirations and intent of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and accepts its invitation to walk alongside and in partnership with First Nations peoples to create a better and more meaningful future for all Australians.
We support the enshrining of a First Nations Voice in the Constitution to facilitate stronger engagement with our First Nations peoples in the development and implementation of laws, policies and programs that affect them and their rights. We share the belief that a First Nations Voice will empower and bring greater hope and prosperity for future generations of Australians.
We equally recognise and respect that everyone is entitled to form their own opinion on the referendum proposal.
Our commitment is to support our people with the resources to make an informed decision on the referendum and to ensure the cultures, histories, rights and voices of First Nations peoples are heard, understood and respected.
Urbis will continue to support the aspirations and intent of the Uluru Statement from the Heart regardless of the outcome from the 2023 referendum.
