Urbis is thrilled to welcome Tim Connoley as a Director in its Property Economics & Research team. Tim, an experienced economist with a keen understanding of the urban development industry, joins Urbis’ city-shapers in Perth.

Tim’s appointment strengthens Urbis’ property economics offering, both in WA and nationally. Tim’s skills, clients and expertise complement our existing team and build our capacity to give unrivalled depth to Urbis’ property economics and research group in Western Australia.

He is a highly-regarded advisor and commentator, with wide-ranging experience across city centres, master planned communities, redevelopment areas, transit oriented developments (TODs), mixed use developments, apartment developments and community infrastructure.

We’re excited to have Tim on board as the economic tide of WA begins to turn and we work to shape cities and communities in the WA market

Ray Haeren, Perth Regional Director, said: “Tim has a great profile and reputation as a commercial advisor and expertise in our key focus areas of property, policy, transport infrastructure and economic development.  Tim is a perfect fit for our team professionally and culturally. We’re excited to have him on board as the economic tide of the State begins to turn and we work to shape cities and communities in the WA market.”

“This appointment represents Urbis’ confidence in the WA market and especially the property market. We are now looking to further grow and develop our WA team to respond to the emerging opportunities and work with clients on getting effective and commercial outcomes in this new climate.”

Tim added: “Urbis has an unmatched reputation in the city-shaping space. The local team is working on a range of exciting redevelopment and regeneration projects. I’m looking forward to working with the team to deliver best-in-class outcomes for our clients, communities and cities.”

A small sample of Tim’s wide and varied experience includes redevelopment projects in Cannington, Midland, Joondalup, Rockingham and Bunbury; the Busselton Margaret River Regional Airport; and master planning in Perth’s north-west corridor.
