Across the 23 categories, five Urbis projects received top honours:
Development of the Year – High-Density Residential | Upper House, Aria Property Group
As the leading urban planner, Urbis guided this 32-story residential inner-city tower development through planning approvals to integrate with a vibrant and highly activated mixed-use commercial/retail precinct fronting two streets. Upper House exemplifies Aria’s dedication to enhancing the urban landscape and delivering lasting value to the community and showcases their unwavering commitment to design excellence and innovation.
Development of the Year – Retail | YG Riverside Village, Consolidated Properties Group
As lead planners and landscape architects, Urbis delivered a creative, commercially astute mixed-use precinct for the Yeerongpilly Green development and also prepared the DA for YG Riverside Village retail village.
Development of the Year – Industrial | Switchyard, Mirvac
Urbis’ planning and engagement teams assisted Mirvac to obtain development approval of the industrial estate and provided ongoing services for subsequent modification and use approvals.
Excellence in Design Innovation | TotalFusion Platinum, Cavcorp
Urbis’ role as landscape architect, in collaboration with Cavcorp Design and Andrew Spencer Landscapes, saw the team deliver biophilic design principles to integrate nature into urban living.
The Urban Developer & Urban Land Institute (ULI) Award for Decarbonisation in Real Estate | Carseldine Village, Economic Development Queensland
Urbis was involved in the overall landscape master plan and the delivery of Stage 1 and Stage 2 for Carseldine Village and responsible for the landscape from concept to construction of the new sporting and community hub ‘The Green’.
