The Property Council is committed to building a diverse and inclusive industry having formed the Women in Property and Diversity Committees across Australia, with their work encompassing conducting female mentoring programs, research initiatives, new event formats and professional development initiatives.

The Property Council’s 100 Women in Property is a program running concurrently around Australia providing participants with sponsorship by an experienced colleague.

Participants gain valuable insights into the role of a committee member through attendance at a committee meeting of their preference during the year. Sponsors assist the participant in growing their industry networks, gaining visibility in their organisation, role model and advocate together with key influencers with a view to enhancing the participant’s future opportunities and career growth.

The Property Council has set itself a target of female committee representation across the Property Council of 40 per cent by 2017.
