Rockhampton — 2018

Bringing a vision to life

Urbis worked with Rockhampton Regional Council on the redevelopment of the Riverside Precinct, a world-class waterfront destination on the shores of Queensland’s Fitzroy River.

The design features playgrounds, river lookouts, shaded walkways and gathering spaces, with a revitalised streetscape along iconic Quay Street that seamlessly connects the city’s edge to the riverbank parklands.

Urbis delivered the master planning, schematic design and construction documentation for the project, helping to bring the vision to life from concept through to delivery.
