QLD NEW BEITH AERIAL PERSPECTIVE WITH SITE BOUNDARY

Round Mountain

City of Logan, QLD

A collective vision

Round Mountain, New Beith is an integrated project delivered for Frasers Property Group, bringing together the expertise of our Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Planning teams.

Shaped by a shared vision, Round Mountain is set to become the jewel of the greater Flagstone region.  Cradled by green, united by a mountain, and composed of intimate villages, each with their own story. Round Mountain will become a sanctuary for adventurous families to reconnect with nature and rediscover life’s simple pleasures.

The master planned community is guided by clear and balanced principles: active adventure, a distinct connection to place, a secure outlook, desirable and down-to-earth living, nature as hero, and a balanced approach to growth and amenity. Together, these principles ensure a community that feels grounded, welcoming, and resilient.

Green streets and connected landscapes

At the heart of Urbis’ impact is the Green Streets network. These shaded, walkable corridors provide uninterrupted pedestrian movement while functioning as habitat corridors, drawing people and nature back to the Mountain.

Designed in close collaboration with the consultant team, the streetscapes at Round Mountain integrate canopy trees, natural shade, and passive irrigation, forming a primary strategy for mitigating the Urban Heat Island Effect across the community.
This connected green network flows seamlessly into the parklands, which are shaped by the existing landscape character. Mature trees are retained wherever possible, reinforcing canopy continuity and thermal comfort, while native flora and fauna inform storytelling, play and recreation.

Together, these elements position Round Mountain as a distinctive, future focused community that reflects Frasers’ vision and Urbis’ integrated, place led approach.

Round Mountain is about creating a community that feels grounded in its landscape, where everyday life is shaped by connection to nature and a strong sense of place.
