Our team successfully guided Goldfields through the competitive design process to achieve approval for this significant residential tower for a key gateway site in the Chatswood CBD. The project involved the transformation of an existing site into a 27-storey mixed-use residential development. The development is set to include a two/three-storey podium with commercial/retail spaces, and a 25-storey residential building housing 76 apartments. Additionally, the project will incorporate improvements to the public domain around the site.
We managed one of the first Architectural Design Competitions in Chatswood to determine the best architectural solution for the redevelopment. Three architectural firms, Architectus, MAKE Architects, and Rothe Lowman, were invited to participate.
Following a comprehensive process, MAKE Architects was selected as the winner of the competition. This project, which will set a new benchmark for residential development in the Chatswood CBD, was approved in March 2023.
