Our planning team assisted Alfred Health in obtaining the planning approval for the Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre in St Kilda Road, Melbourne. The planning strategy facilitated a timely approval for this world class facility, allowing construction to begin in 2022.
Now under construction, the purpose-built centre will provide world-class facilities for the early detection and prevention of skin cancers. The Centre can support up to 300 patients daily, providing integrated services of specialists and researchers, that will drive innovation in cancer research.
The project required design outcomes that fit within the controls for St Kilda Road, whilst maximising space and patient experience. The design includes a Wellness Centre on the ground floor, as well as workplace and research labs on the upper levels.
